Deep Tine/Core Aerification: July 28th

The Island Golf Course will be closed on Tuesday, July 28th for Deep Tine/Core Aerification.

Deep tine aerification is a maintenance process where long, narrow tines are driven deep into the greens to relieve soil compaction and improve air, water, and nutrient flow to the roots.

It’s a bit disruptive in the short term, but it sets our course up for healthier, firmer, and faster-rolling greens in the weeks ahead.

We know closures aren’t ideal, and we appreciate your patience while we invest in the long-term health of the course.
