Memberships at The Island
Located in historic Plaquemine, Louisiana and just 14 miles from downtown Baton Rouge, The Island Golf Course offers affordable memberships. Family Golf memberships also include family access to our tennis courts, swimming pool and fitness facility at a value to our members. There are a variety of memberships available to individuals and families. Come check out our brand new pickleball courts and resurfaced tennis courts!
Golf Memberships
A golf membership allows the member to use facilities provided at The Island Golf Course and to attend club-sponsored member events upon payment of the applicable dues, fees and other charges. Golf members shall not pay green fees for the use of the golf facility, but shall pay applicable golf cart fees. The Course will establish the advance reservation policy for use of the golf facility by Golf Members and their guests from time to time.
Social Memberships
A Social Membership allows the member and his/her immediate family to use The Island’s the tennis, fitness, and swimming facilities from Memorial Day through Labor Day each year. Social members will pay a green fee to play golf.
Golf Cart Plan
Cart Plan is for unlimited cart use for the named person on the plan, and it can be added to any golf membership option.

The Island Golf Course Membership
Thank you for your interest in joining The Island Golf Course. The Island Golf Course is a public course, but we also offer various membership plans for the avid golfer.
Benefits of being a member include:
- Unlimited Green Fees and Cart Fees (if elected).
- Advance Tee Time Privileges: Members may make tee times 7 days in advance. Public players may only book 3 days in advance. Tee times are based upon availability. Members must make a tee time and check in at the golf shop prior to play. (Outings and Tournaments may limit tee times.)
- Membership Tournaments: A tournament schedule will be published at the beginning of each year.
- Use of Pool year round (NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY-SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK), Tennis/Pickleball Courts & Fitness Room. All guests at any of the amenities listed must pay a $5 guest fee.

The Island Golf Course reserves the right to amend its memberships policies and procedures at even given time. All memberships of The Island Golf Course require a 1 year contract from the day of approval of membership to The Island. Golf Membership and Golf Cart Plan prices subject to change year to year.
There are currently no minimum food and beverage charges for any membership category.
